Our Story: From a Near-Miss to a Global Solution
The idea for The Ladder Anchor™ was born from real-world experience — not a boardroom.
Our founder, Gavin Ransome, witnessed a near-miss ladder accident while working at height and realised how easily a routine task could turn into a life-changing injury. Like many professionals, he had relied on footing ladders or improvised ground solutions — and knew they simply weren’t reliable enough for professional safety standards.
Determined to find a better way, Gavin began developing a device that would secure the ladder base independently, removing reliance on a second person and delivering consistent, predictable ladder stability.
